At the Consulate of God, we believe in:

Scripture
We believe in the plenary-verbal inspiration of the accepted canon of the Scriptures as originally given and that they are infallibly and uniquely authoritative and free from error of any sort in all matters with which they deal, including scientific and historical as well as moral and theological (I Timothy 3 :16; I Corinthians 2:13; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22).

God, Himself
We believe that there is only one true and living God, the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE God existing in THREE persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but indivisible (Matthew 28:19; II Corinthians 13-14; Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 43:10,11; Matthew
28:19; Luke 3:22).

Biblical History
We believe in the full historicity and perspicuity of the Biblical record of primeval history, including the literal existence of Adam and Eve as the progenitors of all people, the literal fall and resultant divine curse on the creation, the worldwide cataclysmic deluge, and the origin of nations and languages at the tower of Babel (Genesis 1-11).

Creation

We believe in the creation, test and fall of man as recorded in Genesis; his total spiritual depravity and inability to attain to divine righteousness (Romans 3:10-18).

The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ, that He is the Son of God and the son of man, that He came to save man from condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in Him (Luke 1:26-35; John 1:18; Isaiah 7: 14; 9: 16; Matthew 1:23; John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 15:3; 2 Corinthians 5:21).

Christ's Death & Resurrection
We believe Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared to His disciples (I Corinthians 15: 1 4; Romans 4:25).

Christ's Bodily Ascension
We believe in the bodily ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation and personal, literal and bodily coming again the second time for the Church (John 14:2-3; 1 Thes 4: 13-18).

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Scriptures ascribe to the Holy Spirit the acts and attributes of an intelligent being, and that the works of God such as creation, inspiration, giving of life, and sanctification are also ascribed to the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:2; Job 33:4; Mark 3:29; John 16:8, 13; Acts 7:51, 10:19, 13:2, 13:4, 16:6; 1 Corinthians 2:11, 6:11, 12; Ephesians 4:30; 1 Peter 3:18; 2 Peter 1:21).

Man
Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God's creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin". This attitude separates man from God (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1,2).

Holiness
We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life (Romans 8:5; Philippians 2:12, 13; 1 Thessalonians 4:3; 1 John 2:29).

Salvation By Grace Through Faith
We believe that man is a sinful being in need of salvation which comes by grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins (Ephesians 2:8-9; Hebrews 9: 12, 22; Romans 5: 11; Genesis 1:26-31, 3:1-7; Psalm 51:5; Ecclesiastes 7:29; John 6:44; Romans 5:12-21; 1 Corinthians 2:14).

New Birth
We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential (Luke 7:50, 24:47; Romans 10:13-15; 1 Corinthians 1:18; 2 Corinthians 2:15; Ephesians 2:8, 9; 2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 2:11, 3:5-7).

Water Baptism
We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Eternal Godhead in order to fulfill the command of Christ (Matthew 28;19; Acts 2:34-36; 19:1-6).

Baptism of the Holy Spirit
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Sprit as an experience subsequent to salvation and is given to believers who ask for it (Acts 2:1-4; 8:14 17; 10:44-46; Galatians 3:14-15; Joel 2:28).

The Gifts of the Spirit
We believe in the operation of the gifts of the Spirit as enumerated in I Corinthians 12-14, and as manifested in the Early Church.

Spirit-Filled Living
We believe in the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting holiness in the fear of God as an expression of Christian faith (Ephesians 5:18; I Corinthians 6: 14; 7:1).

Marriage
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as established by the Holy Scriptures and that God created marriage and that the only legitimate marriage is the joining of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Romans 7:2-3; I Corinthians 7:10-11; Ephesians 5:22-33).

Healing
We believe in the healing of the body by Divine Power, or Divine healing in its varied aspects as practiced in the Early Church (Acts 4:30; Romans 8: 11; I Corinthians 12:9; James 5:1,14 - 15; Isaiah 53:4, 5; 1 Peter 2:24).

Communion
We believe in the Table of the Lord, commonly called Communion or the Lord's Supper, for believers (I Corinthians 11:28-32).

Eternal Life
We believe in eternal life for believers (John 5:24; 3: 16) and eternal punishment for unbelievers (Mark 9:43-58; II Thessalonians 1:9; Revelation 20: 10-15; Ecclesiastes 12:7; Romans 5:12; Philippians 1:23).

Resurrection
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved to everlasting life and the lost without Christ to everlasting damnation (Matthew 24:31-46; Acts 24:15; Revelation 22:11).

Return of Jesus Christ
We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18).

Satan & His Judgment
We believe in the reality and personality of Satan and eternal judgment of Satan and his angels (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10-15).
