Dala Alphonso made a decision to dedicate his life to the service of God by
receiving Jesus Christ on November 25, 1995. Less than a year later, on the
23rd of November, 1996 he was onboard an airliner that was hijacked and forcibly
crashed into the Indian Ocean at the Comoros Island killing over 125 people.
This incident was recorded live and aired by CNN and other news media outlets.
Recently, MSNBC listed the crash among
Ten scariest escapes from death. Dala
survived unscathed.
Pastor Dala served as a worship leader and
graduated from an internationally renown Bible College with honors in 1998 and was
ordained into five-fold ministry in 2002 at the WHCMF in Columbus, Ohio, where he is still in good standing.
Prior to moving to Omaha in the summer of 2007, Dala traveled extensively across the United States, Europe and Africa where he
propagated the gospel of Jesus Christ in several Church organizations,
conferences and workshops. He was (and still is) very passionate about the work
of an evangelist and in 2002 began the "Wisdom Workshops" in New Jersey to reach
out and empower the Christian communities within his sphere of influence.
In 2003, he moved to Columbus, Ohio where he
briefly served as administrator of a Columbus, Ohio based Church before being
called apart to prepare for the transition to Omaha. This period brought him
under the spiritual authority and mentorship of Pastor Sunday Adelaja, who leads
the largest evangelical Church in all Europe. Pastor Dala is accountable to Sunday
Adelaja, who he considers to be his pastor, mentor and role model. Visit

preservation to his generation by the power of the Word and wisdom of God.
