Dreams come true!

 

Over the past few weeks and months, God has done huge things in my life which I dare to testify about: what he’s done for me is a dream come true. HE made a way for me to begin the pursuit of a lifelong dream of becoming a professional chef, a dream that contradicts what people said about me that “I was nothing but a failure and a Nobody”.  Since I began worshipping at the Uncommon Church, God has been showing me that I am somebody and not a victim of addiction and abuse. A Better Life In God!

 

For over 15 years I gave up on Church and was drifting from one dead end job to another, yet unable to make ends meet. I had to work two or more jobs just to pay the bills and still it was a struggle.

Renewed Faith!

 

I had a Catholic upbringing, so I have always believed in, been thankful to and prayed to God but I never really got to know Him or Jesus. About six years ago, I converted to Lutheran but fell away from going to church when I started having some really tough times. My thinking was that God would test me whenever I draw near to Him and I wasn’t holding through the trials.

 

I personally believed that religion should be free, so I didn’t think it was right that Churches expected people to give a tenth of their income as tithe but now I know better. My life has changed so much since I began attending the Uncommon Church...  Read More!

Divine Protection!

 

It is because of God that I am here today. God has intervened in my life several times to keep me alive.

I remember was when I was very young (about 5 or 6 years old), my sister and I were with our grandparents driving down the highway and someone side swiped us; sending us off the road and into a ditch. Things could have been much worse but I believe by God's hand we were allowed to continue on in life
